    1. I recently started the binder organizing method I used to throw it all n a suitcase but then a friend of mine who is a professional organizer told me about the binder method and I'm in love with it. I have been working on a few different binders to keep things together.

  3. Adorable pic of your daughter. I am definitely noit as organized as you are--I generally run all over the place looking for those little slips of paper with important dates etc on them. I really should get more organized.

    1. those little slips of paper get put in the binders too so I can keep track of when we went and why we went time and date for each appointment it's ordered by dr then date of notes ect. I love now they give you a sheet after each visit itemizing each service.

  4. I wish I'd done something like this when my son was younger and having some medical problems. It would have made finding what I needed so much easier.

    1. I've been on a kick since I moved into my apartment to make sure things have a home and everything has a place and if I haven't used it in a year I toss it unless it's a special memorie attached like a baby blessing gown my mother inlaw made for my daughter. Then I pack that in the closet and keep it in one of those storage bags to keep it safe. I hate having papers every where. For her school stuff I do the same thing. Her art work is in a bin I been looking for ideas on how to display her artwork and keep some of the really special pieces she's made she's been in pre school since she was 18 months she's 6 now and you can imigine I have a ton of art pieces we need to narrow down so that's another project were going to work on.

    1. yes, I have a medical binder for myself as well. with the health issues we both have it's just simpler to remember notes and what not from visits and it's a nice reference to see how far we've come.

  8. My daughter has a medical folder like this but is always misplacing it or losing important paperwork. It would be nice to turn it into a big binder and keep it in one place so we will always know where it is! You are so organized.

    1. we do this type of set up for our fiancial stuff too. you can get those super big 5 star binders if you needed to have a larger binder the key is the zipper part so nothing falls out and things stay in place. you get a hole punch and punch in holes then you get those file folders and label in according to drs on the label you write dr's location address and fax ect numbers in it.
It's easy once you get started I took two hours to just sort it all out and another hour to put it together but it's save so many more hours in time and frustrations that it's very important and incase there's ever a fire we can grab our binders and go if we can of course.

  10. I should take a lesson in organization from you as I am my stuff is all over the place. Right now all our medicals bills are in different folders. I always plan to get to it and then procrastinate.

    1. Medical bills are all together in a different binder called our fiancial binder. we keep medical bills other bills insurance stuff. Hubby and I have been working on cleaning up our credit. when it comes to medical bills you can contact the place you are getting billed from and some times they can make deals with you like you can pay 20 a month until it's paid, you can also contact them and do a based off income sliding scale fee adjustment for bills. were working on his student loans he being hubby has a degree in computer networking and paying it off slowly and then dealing with medical debt it's a daunting process so being organized in other area's helps clean and clear a space to make room for organization in other area's . our fiancial binder has things like tax papers and what not as well those five star binders are amazing tools to use.
